Cornbread Waffles

The Ingredients

1 3/4 cups flour
1 1/4 cups yellow cornmeal
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 cups milk
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 large eggs

1.) Preheat waffle iron.
2.) In a large bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder, sugar and salt.
3.) Add milk, oil and eggs. Stir until smooth.
4.) Pour batter into hot waffle iron and bake in batches.
5.) Top hot waffles with chili for lunch or dinner or with honey and butter for breakfast
